Blast through the stratosphere
Push through the clouds
I look at the blue planet thinking more
More about my next life
More about the long journey
Space is my new home for now
I want more
I’ll see dead stars
Drifting in and out of nebula
Floating away

I’m taking off (floating away)
Taking off at incredible speed
I see comets
Engines on
I feel the power beneath me
Distant stars are my horizon
They form the endless dark
I pass nearby planets in hopes of finding my new home
Take me fucking home

This is a new form of loneliness
No one can hear me scream

I guess I’m not as strong as I thought
This cabin fever just won’t stop
I’ve got about 12 hours of sleep
I better find a habitual place fast

(I feel my skin crawl as I contemplate ditching my craft)

(Float on)
Drift away because it’s only natural
Float on and gaze at the sun
